Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Been trying to make a change on the Rv-dreams map.  Cannot make the change can't even access the map through the e-mail link we had received when we first signed on. 

Has any thing changed.

Don't know what is up with the Buddy Map.  I've been disappointed with it for a few months now.

In the background, among many other things, I've been working on a different map that doesn't require a third party.  It won't be ready anytime soon, but I'm working on it.  smile

Sorry for bringing up this old topic...I noticed the buddy map still doesn't work.  One of the sites I run uses Google Maps for the display.  It can be zoomed and dragged and is easy for folks to use.  Click this link to take a look and see if it is something you would be interested in using for the site.  It uses xml for the data file, and I hand edit the file when adding a weather station, but I believe it could be coded into a site so no intervention is required.  Let me know if you'd be interested Howard.

Talk about bringing up old topics LOL!! But I was about to ask about a map showing RV Dreamer's and found this topic in a search. Have you thought any more about a map that shows the location of fellow Dreamers Howard?
Of course there are so many the map would be just one solid color LOL!!

I check in, I just forgot to respond to the question last time I viewed this topic.  :)

I look for a map solution periodically, but I still can't find anything that allows our community to update their locations as they move.
