Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Nascar

Just wondereing if anyone in the RV Dreams Community are Nascar fans?
When we get on the road we hope to visit a few tracks. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them.

I don't know when we will hit the road it all depends on selling our business and our home. Hopefuly that will be this spring.

Pam

Texas Motor Speedway, North of Ft Worth is a beautiful track. They have alot of RV slots that are concrete and level. They also have driving schools for Nascar and Indy cars.

Hi Pam!
We are Nascar fans, and while we don't hit all that many races, we go whenever the opportunity arises.

Escapees offers some great HOPS to the races.  We've been to Darlington and will go to the Las Vegas race with them next month.  Be sure to check it out, if you  haven't already.   Are you an Escapees member?   If not, you will want to look at it when you go fulltime!

We love to join others at the race, so let us know if you're going...we'd love to meet you!

My husand and I are huge NASCAR Fans! We love Texas Motor Speedway and have season tickets to Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Ks.  We always camp for about 4-5 days and enjoy all the activities....also FYI...Kyle and Patty Petty are planning a new Victory Junction camp in Kansas City. They met wth city and county leaders last week to try to finalize it.   biggrin

As you can see by my signature I am also a NASCAR fan but also am a big NHRA fan. In fact have done a little dirt track racing in Kansas in the late 70's and some Drag racing in Colorado in the 90's. Our first year of full timing will consist of seeing as many NASCAR and NHRA races as possible.Definately want to go see NASCAR at Daytona and Bristol for sure and NHRA at Indy and Englishtown.

We sort of follow NASCAR when we get a chance, Been to races at Dover, Ponoco, and Daytona, visited Taladega (and that is awesome) and Loudon in NH.
Like Racerguy did some dirt track racing in the late 60's to mid 70"s at tracks in Pa.
Give me a choice to go to NASCAR or a "WOW" 410 sprint car race.confused   I am the one going to the dirt track.smilesmile

Thanks for all of the replies. It is good to know that when we get on the road that there will be RV Dreams Community members enjoying the races as well.
We want to spend the week in Daytona for Speed week as well as going to a race in Michiagan (we have family there).

Yes Bob we are Escapee members and I have thought about going to a hop with them, just need to be able to be gone more than a day or two. (Being Self employed is not condusive to taking long vacations).  I have also looked into the the week long rally put on by Adventure Caravans, it would be a busy week but you could have a blast.

Netters, hope we can see you in Kansas, I would love to volunteer at Victory Junction, it is such a wonderful cause.

Again thanks for all of the great replies, looking forward to meeting all of you down the road. :)
