Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

1985 Excutive MH

I need some help.  Is any one familure with the Excutive MH.  Daughter is looking at one that is a 1985 and they want $15,000 for it.  It has a solar panel, auto leveling, and has a new engine.  It has been sitting for 2 years.  Daughter says the inside is very nice and well taken care of.  I am afraid this is not a good buy.  Any one that can give me some info - would be great.  I did go to RV.net and there was an '87 Excutive for $44,000.  So maybe this is not such a bad buy.  I just dno't know.

The executive was a good MH but after 22 years - especially sitting unused for 2 yrs, I would stay clear of it. I just sold a 94 Thor 35' residency for 18,000. There are far better deals out there. If she can afford it, I would try to stay within the 10 years or newer models.

Thanks for your comments.  She is not going to get it.  it was her in-laws and I don't think the deal was all that great.  They may have to wait a while but that is ok.  We have to wait too.
