Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

We have a Sears Kenmore washer and dryer and couldn't be happier with them. They were installed by Carriage when we bought the trailer. They are

Compact Automatic Washer model 110.4418
120 Volt Compact Electric Dryer model 110.84722

I don't think you can go wrong with Sears appliances

Good luck,

Fred

We are on our 2nd Splendide,  out first was a Splendide was a Combo unti (vented).   I was a good W/D,  but Delaine wanted to be able to wash and dry at the same time.   And after many hours of research she decided on the new stackable unit by Splendide Ariston,  both washer and dryer are front load.   And we are full time and have used the Ariston since Jan 21st and have had no problems.   Good Luck on your choice...    GBY.....

OK, I guess we have our two options. As long as I know these will hold up I will start looking at the 2 choices. We thank you for your input.

Sorry to be late, but we have the Splendide 2100 combo unit and love it.  Kenmore is good, but another choice is the stackable Whirlpool units.  You can get them at Lowes.  (I think Whirlpool makes Kenmore).  And as stated, Splendide now has the stackables.  Splendide is reliable and has excellent service.  A friend of ours broke the front door on theirs and Splendide overnighted the parts so that they we up and running quickly.

We got the Majestic installed when we got our new 5ver and it only lasted 3 washes. The dryer belt comes off. The way that the belt is designed to go on is questionable. I really do not know how these units are built, but they have to be better than the Majestic. If anyone is looking at W/D you need to beware of this problem. I have not heard of anything like this happening with these other units.

Thanks again to everyone
