Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Cardinal's 2 fridges

We have always had a large freezer and when I saw that Cardinal has 2 refridgerators side by side, I was interested in them.  Does anyone have this and can one be turned into a freezer?  It would be nice to have more freezer space than in the regular RV fridg.  I don't like going grocery shopping now and I am sure I won't like it any better out on the road.  Thanks for any comments.

We purchased a Cardinal 36TS this past October. We have the two refrigerator freezers. They are fabulous. We were concerned whether we would have enough storage for freezer and fridge. My wife cooks every day...every Day!! We are living in it fulltime since October. We have never had a "storage issue" with them. We have plenty of room and we shop just like we did when in the stick and brick with a residential fridge/freezer. Of course we can't "load up" but i can tell you that if we really wanted to, we could go longer than once a week to shop.

Thanks Al for your info. Do you like the rest of the Cardinal also?

We have been living fulltime in our Cardinal since October, and honestly i can't say there is anything at all that we don't like. We love it. The only thing that still remains to be seen is how it tows. We have not towed it yet, but are planning to soon. I have never towed anything, so i have a couple friends/neighbors that are going to take me out for a few "test tows".
